Return Policy

We want you to be happy with your purchase. If something isn’t right, we’re here to helpβ€”within the guidelines below.


Return Window

Return requests must be submitted within 7 days of delivery or pickup.


Return Condition Requirements (Important)

As a second-hand clothing store, all items must be returned in the exact same condition as received.

To qualify for a return, items must be:

  • Unworn and unused after purchase
  • Clean and in original condition
  • Free of new stains, damage, odors (e.g., smoke, perfume), or alterations

🚫 Items showing any signs of additional wear after purchase will not be accepted.
🚫 Items must match their original condition at the time of sale.


Condition Disclosure for Pre-Loved Items

Most items are pre-loved (second-hand) unless stated otherwise.

While we carefully inspect each item, normal signs of previous use may be present, such as:

  • Light fabric wear
  • Minor fading
  • Slight pilling
  • Small color variations from washing
  • Natural fabric aging

These are expected characteristics of second-hand clothing and do not qualify as defects.

Returns will not be accepted for normal wear that does not affect functionality.

Any notable flaws (e.g., stains, holes, repairs) are disclosed in the product description whenever possible. Please review photos and descriptions carefully before purchasing.


Size and Fit

Sizing may vary by brand. Please review measurements and sizing guides when available before purchasing.


Final Sale Items

The following items are final sale and not eligible for return:

  • Clearance items
  • Items marked Final Sale
  • Items not in original condition

How to Request a Return

To start a return, contact contact@loopahoop.ca with:

  • Your order number
  • The item(s) you wish to return

Once approved, you will receive next steps.


Return Options

1. Local Drop-Off (Free)

  • Must be completed within 2 days of approval
  • Location provided after approval
  • Free of charge

2. Local Pickup (Optional)

  • May be free if combined with an existing delivery route
  • Otherwise:
    • Calgary: $7
    • Surrounding areas: $12

3. Return Shipping (Canada Post)

  • Returns can be shipped via Canada Post
  • Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer
  • We recommend using a tracked shipping service
  • Items must be shipped within 2 days of return approval
  • We are not responsible for lost or delayed return shipments

Refund Processing

Once the item is received and inspected:

  • Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method
  • Processing time: 3–5 business days
  • Original delivery fees are non-refundable, unless the return is due to our error

Incorrect or Misrepresented Items

If you receive an item that is incorrect or significantly different from its description, contact us within 48 hours so we can resolve it promptly.

This policy complies with Alberta’s Consumer Protection Act. By completing a purchase, customers agree to these terms.
